Clarifying the definition of Health

Health is a topic that brings a lot of controversy and talk. It is associated with many deceptive ideas that I would like to clarify before you continue any further on this blog. Health is first of all, very individual. Every person's ideal health is different and should NOT be compared to anyone else's. Here is a big one...Health is most definitely NOT about weight! In our society, for some reason, there lies a deceptive principle that states that thinner you are, the healthier you are. FALSE! First of all, your weight does not define your health. Second of all, every person's body and ideal weight is different. Health is about eating good foods that make you feel good. I believe a healthy lifestyle consists of natural foods such as fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, meats, and grains. Exercise is also crucial to health. Finding a way that is fun and enjoyable for you to exercise is important. Health also consists of healthy relationships with others, happiness, uplifting environments, and a healthy relationship with yourself. Having confidence in yourself and your capabilities. This will bring about a well-rounded lifestyle of health for you. I hope you can be inspired by my blog to live a healthier lifestyle. Physically healthier, mentally healthier, and spiritually healthier. So get started healthing yourself!
